My Grandmother's Best Strawberry Jam

French Lifestyle Mamie`s Strawberry Jam -2 kg of strawberry -500g of sugar - Juice of 1 lemon Rinse whole strawberries . Remove stems and cut into pieces, then putting them in the preserving pan. Add sugar, cut in 4 and lemon juice.  Stir with a wooden spoon and cook them on medium to low heat, stirring regularly.          Cook about 3 hours, depending on the consistency of jam, stop cooking then skim the surface. France,Tradition. Going back home ....

Three months ago I returned from France, where I spent two and half months with my boys. I remember how excited I felt about returning home more than any other time before. Although we as a family, had already been back home, this time around it was somewhat different. We enrolled our boys in a French school in order to further improve their French language skills and to gain a deeper appreciation of the French culture.
